If you did not notice a speed improvement after running Cleario, here are the most common reasons and what to try.
STEPS
1. Restart your PC. Most optimizations apply only after a reboot.
2. Update Windows, your device drivers, and installed applications. Outdated drivers are a frequent cause of slowness Cleario cannot address.
3. Run a full antivirus scan. Malware can slow a system even after PC optimization.
4. Open Toolbox → Startup Optimizer and disable unnecessary startup programs.
5. Open Toolbox → Process Scanner and close background processes consuming excessive CPU or memory.
6. Run Deepclean if your hard drive has less than 10–15% free space. A nearly-full drive is a major cause of slow performance.
COMMON CAUSES
• Changes not applied: Restart your PC so all Cleario changes take full effect
• Hardware limitations: Very old or failing hardware is outside Cleario's scope
• Malware or viruses: Malware can persist even after PC optimization
• Outdated drivers: Update your OS, drivers, and applications
Note: Cleario improves software performance. It cannot fix failing hardware. If you are unsure what was addressed, visit support.mycleario.com/hc/en-us - the support team can review your system profile.
